Exciting online developments at IN

The Independent Nurse office is a hive of activity as we head towards the launch of the title's redesigned website.

The Independent Nurse office is a hive of activity as we head towards the launch of the title's redesigned website, accompanied by an evolved print design. Launching in September, we are putting the final touches to the improved version of the website, so that it looks better, is easier to use and provides readers with more of what they need. The office is a mix of excitement and trepidation, but September cannot come fast enough for me. I am looking forward to proudly directing people to our online information.

News will now be updated multiple times a day, dictated by events, and will allow us to bring you key primary care news as it happens. As a news-driven title this is incredibly exciting, particularly as we head towards the general election. We will be able to bring you news on the health policy that will affect primary care nurses immediately. The print magazine will continue fortnightly and will, in time, offer greater news analysis. The IN newsletters will be replaced by e-zines, to keep you abreast of developments.

Aside from more up-to-date news, the new site will give you easier access to current and previous clinical articles. The site will be easy to read on any device, providing fast access to clinical content as you need it.

In short, the relaunched IN website will provide all the usual primary care focused content and more. It will give us more flexibility to provide the content in the ways you want it.

Please visit the site at launch and let us know what you think, either in the usual way or by commenting online. From my point of view, I can't wait to hear from readers, and the website will provide a more direct link to you. This in turn will enable IN to give you more of the articles you want to read. The web address will remain unchanged, so all that's left to do is visit in September.
