Why did you become a nurse?
Interestingly, nursing had never figured in my career pathway, despite having several members of the family in the profession.
From the age of four, I had planned to have my own dance school. But after much thought I realised that dancing was not a life-long option and I decided to go back to college for further study. In the meantime, I got a job as a cleaner in a residential home, which is where I became interested in nursing. Despite a rejection from Taunton, I started my nurse training at the Royal London Hospital 12 months later.
