The conference will focus on how healthcare professionals should implement the revised safeguarding guidance, and how they can meet the 1 April deadline for the implementation of the first part of the regulations. Speakers include Claire Crawley, senior policy manager of adult safeguarding at the DH; Andrea Sutcliffe, chief inspector of adult social care at the CQC; and Paula Scully, an adult care solicitor for Derbyshire County Council.
