The Royal College of Nursing will host a conference for advanced nurse practitioners on 3 February 2017. The event will take place at the organisation’s headquarters in Cavendish Square, London. The credentialing of advanced nursing practice will be presented in a key note speech, and a workshop will enable attendees to understand the importance of this, as well as the potential impact it will have on advanced nurse practitioners, the public and employers.
There will also be a variety of workshops under three themes. Professional sessions will cover, credentialing, legal and regulatory liability and revalidation. Clinical sessions will feature discussions on sepsis, acute kidney injury and assessment of older adults. Educational sessions will look at leadership and innovation, and research on take-home schemes.
