A conference on improving clinical audit skills will be held on 7 October at Colmore Gate Conference Centre in Birmingham. Speakers will include professor Pauline Ong, a member of the National Advisory Group on Clinical Audit and Enquiries and professor of health services research at Keele University, Cathy Hassell, the deputy director of quality programmes at NHS England, and Kat Young, chair of the National Quality Improvement & Clinical Audit Network, and senior quality improvement lead at Royal Berkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Topics to be discussed include: supporting staff to deliver quality through clinical audit, learning from CQC inspections, and delivering change as a result of clinical audit findings.
