The event will focus on implementing a practical guide to eliminating avoidable pressure ulcers, implementing the national Stop the Pressure campaign and implementing NICE quality standard for pressure ulcers. Those giving presentations include Tina Chambers, chair of the Tissue Viability Society, Rosie Callaghan, a tissue viability nurse at Evesham Community Hospital, and Suzanne Banks the professional advisor on pressure ulcers at NHS England. Some of the topics that will discussed are reducing community acquired pressure ulcers, and implementing SSKIN in practice.
