Female Genital Mutilation: An RCN resource for nursing and midwifery practice will be launched at the RCN headquarters in London on 6 February 2015. The resource is a toolkit designed to support nurses and midwives in delivering the best care to women affected by FGM. Speakers include Carmel Bagness, the RCN's women's health and midwifery adviser; Professor Lesley Regan, vice president of strategic development at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; and Jason Ashwood from the Metropolitan Police.
