Diabetes UK is hosting a fundraising event called 'The London Bridges Challenge' on 2 November. The event will be a nine mile walk along the river Thames, passing many of London's most famous landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
The walk will begin at Albert Bridge and will cost £5 per entrant, with children under twelves admitted for free. Proceeds of the walk will go towards supporting Diabetes UK's work with diabetes patients, as well as its research into the condition.
