Nurses can refresh their prescribing knowledge in primary and secondary care with an upcoming conference at the ICO Conference Centre in London on 2 June. Speakers include Barbara Stuttle, chair of the Association for Nurse Prescribing, Katerina Kolyva, director of continued practice at the NMC, and Deborah Robertson, senior lecturer at the University of Chester. They will discuss topics such as prescribing for comorbidities, improving non-medical prescribing practice and competence, and how non-medical prescribing, relates to advanced practice and revalidation. There will also be a session led by Chris Cox, the director of legal services at the RCN, on the legal aspects of prescribing.
