It will focus on improving the quality and outcomes of perinatal mental health services, with talks on subjects such as identifying women who are experiencing distress, improving the quality of mental health care for new mothers, and supporting men whose wives or partners are experiencing postnatal depression. Speakers include Mark Williams, from the charity Fathers Reaching Out, and Nigel Perks, a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
