A conference for healthcare professionals to improve the treatment of sepsis will be held on 12 October, at the America Square Conference Centre, London.
Speakers will include Dr Ron Daniels, chair of the UK Sepsis Trust, Dr Matthew Inada-Kim, acute consultant and sepsis lead at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Celia Ingham Clark, national director for reducing premature deaths at NHS England. Some of the topics covered will include antibiotic stewardship and sepsis, improving outcomes for patients with sepsis, the treatment of septic shock and the pre-hospital diagnosis and management of sepsis.
