The RCN and the National Council for Palliative Care will host an interactive workshop titled ‘Let’s talk about end-of-life care on 28 October at RCN Wales headquarters. The workshop is designed for nurses working in general practice, community settings, and the acute sector. Some of the topics that will be discussed in sessions at the workshop include bereavement, building resilience, talking to patients about end-of-life care, and a review of the resources available to nurses working with people approaching the end of their lives. The event will also contain information and advice about the importance of nurses and other healthcare professionals looking after their own health. The event is free to attend.
