Trade union GMB surveyed members working as primary care nurses and found 94 per cent claimed they spent too much time dealing with NHS bureaucracy, 97 per cent said had carried out work while off duty and 97 per cent said additional pressures were being placed upon them to cover for colleagues who are on holiday, off work unwell or who have left the organisation.
