Speaking ahead of the publication of the Francis Report this week, director Richard Griffin said it was 'essential' to invest in support worker development and to strengthen partnerships between service users, employers and education providers as part of the process.
He added: 'In both health and social care, support worker roles are changing. Increasingly they are directly caring and supporting patients and clients.
