There is one week left to submit your nomination for a Journal of Health Visiting Award. If you know a colleague who deserves recognition for their work providing the best start for children and families, visit the website and tell us, in 300 words, why they should win.
Run by the Journal of Health Visiting and supported by Children & Young People Now, the awards will be held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on 14 March 2016, alongside the Journal of Health Visiting's inaugural conference: Best Practice in the Early Years High Impact Areas.
There are seven categories aimed at showcasing excellence in evidence-based health visiting in each of the Department of Health's six high-impact areas for the early years including:
- Enhancing Parenting Capacity Award.
- Contribution to Mental Health and Attachment.
- Best Practice in Promoting/Maintaining Breast Feeding.
- Promoting Healthy Eating, Drinking in the Early Years.
- Contribution to Child Health at Home.
- School Readiness Award.
- Innovation in Health Visiting Practice - NEW
