Nurses keen to boost their knowledge and understanding of nutrition are getting ready for the National Nurses Nutrition Group Annual Conference 2019.
The NNNG Conference 2019 will take place from 24 to 25 June at the Apex Hotel in Bath and places are still available for anyone with an interest in a nutrition nurse’s role, including student/staff/paediatric/lead nurses, dieticians, community nurses, nursing associates and any nursing professional eager to learn more about this area of healthcare.
Talks will be held throughout each day, chaired by Clare Campbell of the National Nurses Nutrition Group. These will cover management of ‘buried bumpers’, understanding research and how to write for publication, exploring palliative care and the value of home parental nutrition, and understanding disease-specific nutritional care in gastrointestinal diseases.
This year’s conference is a brilliant opportunity for nurses learn more about an area they’re interested in, keep up-to-date with the latest developments in nutrition, network with other specialists in the field, hear from key voices and leaders in nutrition care, and discuss and debate challenges and exciting innovations in nutrition.
