Florence Nightingale scholarships

Applications for the Florence Nightingale Foundation's travel scholarships will open on 1 March 2015. The scholarships provide up to £5000 to study an aspect of practice in another area of the UK or overseas. Any nurse or midwife registered with the NMC and resident in the UK is eligible to apply. The scholarships are awarded for projects connected with the applicant's field of work that will benefit patients and healthcare professionals. For 2015-16, the foundation is particularly interested in supporting scholarships in areas such as long-term conditions, end-of-life care, and clinical leadership, as well as any projects that improve the patient's experience, or enhance dignity, health and wellbeing.
