The title sums up this book as it is full of advice and suggestions for mentoring students while being mindful of time constraints. It was written not to be read from cover to cover, but to dip into at relevant times during a student's placement. It is probably most useful to those who are new to mentoring and would also apply to healthcare professionals other than nurses.
I have very little experience with mentoring and I read the book from cover to cover. I did enjoy reading it and I found it was easy to follow as the text seemed to carry you along in spite of there being a lot of diagrams, boxes and tables, which could have broken the flow.
