HEE has produced a short film to support the improvement of patient safety, as part of the Commission on Education and Training for Patients. The film contains information and advice about raising concerns for staff at all levels. The film is part of HEE's response to Sir Robert Francis QC's Freedom to Speak up review, which looked at whistleblowing in the NHS.
The Commission has several roles in HEE. These include examining the evidence for educational interventions that positively improve all aspects of patient safety, and providing education and training on reducing human error.
