Q)
My manager says I need to ensure I keep my skills up to date. However, I do not know where to go for help. My employers are supportive but the practice is too small to arrange in-house training.

It is always heartening to hear when an employer is committed to staff development. The work of nursing is challenging, and regular development plays a vital part in ensuring the team's skills remain high. There is also the statutory and mandatory training that you need to undertake on a regular basis, to ensure your foundation skills remain strong.
There are many ways of keeping CPD up to date. Most obviously, there are regular training providers who can be sourced through internet search engines and professional journals.
