Learn about multiple sclerosis online

An e-learning platform for nurses interested in the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis has been created by the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform and the International Organisation of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses. The platform is divided into five modules. These cover: understanding multiple sclerosis, clinical presentation, diagnosis and assessment, treatment, and caring for and support a patient with the condition. The platform also contains a glossary of terms commonly used in reference to multiple sclerosis, along with a list of resources for nurses who wish to continue to learn about the condition once they have completed the e-learning course. The programme is accredited by several European nursing organisations, including the Royal College of Nursing. The course is free to use.
