Perinatal mental health

NHS England is running a day-long conference in Manchester on 20 June focusing on the mental health of mothers shortly after giving birth. The objective of the conference is that delegates leave with the ability to recognise serious mental illness and emergencies in perinatal mental health. Speakers will include Dr Angelika Wieck, Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Lead at the Strategic Clinical Network Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire, and Dr Margaret Oates, Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist, Nottingham Health Care.
