The Report of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry was designed to bring closure to the families of those who died due to care failings, while opening debate about NHS culture change.
Independent Nurse's survey of 461 practice nurses, advanced nurse practitioners (ANPs), district nurses, school nurses and health visitors reveals the sector to be in support of the report's recommendations for nursing and keen to support change.
A snapshot of survey results, published in our last edition, revealed 98 per cent of IN readers agree patient care should be improved in primary care and community settings. This finding is maintained following our analysis of the final results.
