What does the Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Area Team of NHS England do?
It has a responsibility for directly commissioning primary care services. That includes all independent contract services: general practice, pharmacy, optometry and dental services. We also have an assurance role to support CCGs to undertake their roles and responsibilities, and oversee equality and safety for the peninsula. We also have a key role in developing the CCGs.
