A This is one of the most challenging issues for new organisations. There is a trade-off between commitment to a business and how much money you will need to pay initially. Someone with a high commitment to the business may be prepared to work for little or no money in the early stages, in order to secure a share of the future success of the business.

It is not uncommon for founders of an organisation to work for several months without a salary in the early stages of setting up a new business. However, someone with a relatively low commitment to the business will demand appropriate reward for the time and effort they are putting in now.
