UTS: Health Professor Lin Perry describes the new JDRF funded pilot of a tele-health insulin pump clinic for people with Type-1 Diabetes. Based at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, the pilot will connect people in regional/rural areas of Hunter/New England with specialist Type-1 Diabetes services that were previously difficult to access.
